Some Malad time, July 2012

My parent bought a 5th wheel trailer this year. We had the honor of them taking us to Island Park for a fun 4 day trip. The evenings were cool and days warm, a nice retreat from the Houston summer heat. The boys went fishing on Henry's Lake and near by streams.

My brother has a cabin in Island Park which allowed us to do some fun family activities, like floating in canoes down the river. This was a fun activity I enjoyed as a kid, I welcomed the opportunity for them to delight in the same entertainment. .....Note to self....... Do not let VaLoy steer the canoe EVER again.

We also made the journey into Yellowstone National Park. We took pleasure in our leisure drive through the park. We stopped to see Old Faithful put on its show and nibble in some yummy ice cream.

While we were driving through Yellowstone Park, we encountered some buffalo along side the road. Any other game we saw was to far to get a snap shot of.


We also enjoyed our Pioneer celebration with my sister's family in her enchanting little community.

We always relish in the thought of our annual Idaho trip, to spend precious time with Family. How Thankful I am for this opportunity to spend such quality time there.
