I was able to go with Nathaniel on his 4th grade class field trip to Austin to visit the Capitol building and a History museum. I actually rode up with a friend who's son is also inthe 4th grade. We had a great visit. Here is Nathaniel looking over the balcony and Mrs. Grant standing close by.
This is an actual hinge in the door, it weighs 8 lbs. Can you imagine there are 3 on them on each door. They are pretty neat look though.
This is the below ground level of the capitol building, but its outdoor.
It was a fun trip, I learned a lot about Texas history. Thanks Nathaniel for letting me be your chaperone.
